Focus on automotive, industrial spare parts and fashion items
DB Schenker recently started construction work on its upcoming facility in Dubai Logistics City in Dubai, UAE, which is planned to offer general cargo warehousing, distribution and value-added services.
The state-of-the art logistics centre will have a warehouse space of 8,500 m2 and a total storage capacity of 8,500 pallet positions with two mezzanine levels dedicated for value added services and spare parts operations. It will contain temperature-controlled areas as well as ambient temperature zones to suit the different customer needs.
The logistics centre is located in the freight forwarding area in Dubai World Central with direct access to the new Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai and to the land side of the free zone allowing access to the sea port of Jabal Ali.
